Fostering inclusivity through the familiar
For the 2025 edition of the Employee Forum, Mubadala brought together employees from four different organisations under the umbrella of One Mubadala. We were tasked with developing a creative theme that would feel inclusive and familiar to the attendees. To achieve this, we employed a limited colour palette drawn from each of the entities, we also used colour treated photography to minimise the number of colours in each application and ensure the palette felt coherent and ownable. This, in addition to a key graphic comprising multiple small dots to create larger, dynamic shapes, further emphasised the unifying message underlined by our theme, “Stronger Together” - multiple individuals or entities working as one. These key graphics also featured organic yet futuristic fluid wave forms that created a sense of energy, motion and future-focused momentum.
Creating a coherent, interactive brand experience
This visual identity was applied across multiple event touchpoints, including invitations, signage, wayfinding, environmental branding, on-screen graphics and animations, as well as the event app. We worked closely with the events agency to manage the tight time frame and meticulously plan and prototype across all touchpoints. Together, we created a coherent, interactive brand experience for all attendees, guiding them through the full day’s agenda from arrival to departure for optimal impact. The aim was for the event to conclude with attendees feeling energised, unified and inspired to be part of something bigger, connected by a shared vision.
